FISHING LIMITS AND REGULATIONS FOR SANIBEL AND CAPTIVA ISLANDS
Both salt and fresh water species may be caught here. Salt water-fishing ranges from light tackle angling for trout, redfish, and snook, to big game fishing for tarpon and shark. Non boating fishing spots are the Sanibel/Captiva bridge, the fishing pier on the bay side of the lighthouse, and beaches. Some of our more popular game fish are:
