Barrier Island Group for the Arts ("BIG ARTS" 239/395-0900) - This club promotes fine and performing arts. Every November, the BIG ARTS craft fair is the main attraction, although other events are sponsored throughout the year.

Old Schoolhouse Theatre (239/472-6862) - Within this authentic 1896 schoolhouse, is a 90-seat in-the-round theatre which hosts live, professional theatre during the winter season.

Pirate Playhouse (239/472-0006) - Sanibel's more modern answer to professional live theatre is this 180-seat playhouse, which offers evening performances as well as matinees.

Whether you fancy live theatre or the silver screen, taverns or resort lounges, you'll find your place to dance (or just relax) the night away on Sanibel. Plus, among the neighborhood pubs and restaurants, you will find big-screen TV's, video games, karaoke, darts, and much, much more! Mingle with the locals to learn where the best spots are, or just lie back on a sandy beach to take in the breathtaking, starry expanse of sky.
