Barrier
Island Group for the Arts ("BIG ARTS" 239/395-0900) - This club promotes
fine and performing arts. Every November, the BIG ARTS craft fair
is the main attraction, although other events are sponsored throughout
the year.
Old Schoolhouse Theatre (239/472-6862) - Within this authentic 1896
schoolhouse, is a 90-seat in-the-round theatre which hosts live, professional
theatre during the winter season.
Pirate Playhouse (239/472-0006) - Sanibel's more modern answer to
professional live theatre is this 180-seat playhouse, which offers
evening performances as well as matinees. |
